The most common question we are asked is about prints for our reamers.

We have never offered prints as they are pretty useless to the customer except for comparing one cartridge to another.  The dimensions listed on prints are “representative”, I.E. they would be the ideal dimensions according to the engineer who drew them up.  However all prints include tolerances, these specify the amount the machinist is allowed to vary from the print and still pass inspection. Every reamer maker has their own standards, so tolerances vary from one brand of reamer to the next.

Our solution:  We have a CMM machine that can measure reamers to a degree of accuracy that would satisfy NASA.

Now you can order an inspection report for the actual tool you will be renting so that you know exactly what you are getting (by Serial #). The report will state whether the reamer falls withing standard dimensions or not (pass/fail).  If you want to purchase this service it is available on every reamer listing on the site.
