12 Gauge Choke Reamer & Tap Tooling
This tooling is used to machine shotgun barrels for installation of screw-in choke tube systems.
Each rental provides the core tools required to properly ream and tap a 12 gauge barrel for the selected choke family.

Which Choke Tube Style Should I Thread My Barrel For?
Rem-Choke® and Win-Choke® style / family of tubes are thicker and generally easier to source, making them a common choice for many shotgun builds.
Tru-Choke™ Standard tubes are thinner, and Tru-Choke™ Thinwall tubes are thinner yet. These thinner systems allow a wider range of barrels to be threaded, but choke tube availability may be more limited.
